Just a brief tutorial on how I repaired my GEM safety razor. Many of us have experienced loose hinges on the cap of these razors. This forces the blade to sit incorrectly or move while shaving. Long story short, Bad Shave! 

Adjusting the spring on the mechanism can solve that problem!  All you need is a pair of needle nose pliers and some patience.
